Factors such as Judas, the apostle who betrayed Jesus, was the 13th apostle, then there’s the Norse mythology when Loki, the god of mischief, was the 13th and last guest when the 12 gods were having a dinner in Valhalla and, being the god of mischief, schemed for the blind god Hoder to shoot and kill Balder, the god of joy and gladness. Also the cult classic Friday the 13th film franchise, where outgoers are being killed by a spiteful mother and masked homicidal maniac, making people stay indoors.

But aside from all the superstition that envelops Halloween and the number 13, Tatoo parlors all over the nation were offering flash sales in celebration of Friday the 13th, and superstition and its infamy didn’t stop these people to get their Friday the 13th tattoos.
