A Day in Boiler Room x Festival of Disruption

In conjunction with the Festival of Disruption, Boiler Room is partnering with the festival to celebrate creativity and consciousness. Boiler Room will begin the simulcast at 4 PM this Saturday, with a discussion panel of the Twin Peaks sequel after twenty-five years. Host Kristine Mckenna will start a discussion panel with Twin Peaks production team and talk about the production of the long-awaited sequel of twin peaks, a TV series that helped shaped the golden age of TV series. And it wouldn’t be Boiler Room without live performances by Bon Iver, TV on the Radio, and Laura Marling on its first night.

The second night will kick off with artist Ed Ruscha, who is responsible for almost every logo in Hollywood, such examples are the Paramount Pictures mountain logo and the 20th Century Fox trademark logo that you still continue to see today when watching your anticipated blockbuster film. The night will end with performances by Nite Jewel, Peaking Lights, John Carrol Kirby, Secret Circuit.

The two-day festival will be held at The Theatre at Ace Hotel. It also includes film showings of never before seen David Lynch short films, gallery exhibitions, and DJ performances from world-renowned artists Moby and Shepard Fairy. It starts at 9 AM on Oct 14 and ending on Sunday, Oct 15. Tickets are available here, and if you’re an avid fan of David Lynch’s work but couldn’t make, be sure to tune in to Boiler Room because they will be live-streaming the event via their website.
